We only make carabiners
FresKaro is a carabiner brand and nothing else. We draw the shape, pick the 7075 aluminium, choose how the gate closes and decide what number goes on the spine. Then we hang it on the wall next to its siblings and write down, in plain words, what it is for.
Three things we refuse to do
No ropes
We leave ropes, harnesses and helmets to others and spend all our time on the one piece that connects them.
No mystery numbers
Every clip carries its strength on the spine, and every page on this site repeats it.
No grey areas
A clip is either certified for climbing or plainly marked not for climbing. Nothing in between.
